·  Group Care services.  We provide an individualized planned group program for each resident, with activities that meet the resident’s normal dependency and developmental needs.  We provide room and board, care and supervision.  The facilities are staffed 24 hours per day.

·  Interpersonal skill building.   We coach residents and teach anger management, socialization and relationship building skills, as well as problem-solving tools, all within the context of individualized, group living and community activities.

· Independent living skill.  Our residents learn self-sufficiency in personal care, home maintenance, study skills, money management, meal preparation and nutrition, and other related skills.  We help our residents understand how to build and sustain connections in the community that will support efforts toward self-sufficiency.

·Academic and vocational skills.   We build strong relationships with the schools and teachers to assist and support our residents as they begin to experience academic success.

·Positive Peer Mentoring.   We provide a therapeutic environment that encourages the development of a positive peer group and team mentoring, using frequent house/group meetings to emphasize skill development and the benefits of building positive relationships that can come from group living.

·Community interaction.  Through linkages with our community, we offer our residents opportunities for expanding mind and spirit through the arts, cultural, and social opportunities, and access to familiar religious, cultural and ethnic traditions and practices.

·Community referrals.  Through the Case Manager, we assist in connecting with community resources to meet our residents’ specialized needs and integrate those with the daily living experience.  This includes identification of behavioral and substance abuse support services needed for successful discharge.
